Man 'critical' after fence crash

A motorist is in a critical condition in hospital after his car struck a fence in Berkshire.

The incident happened in Slough, on Thursday afternoon.

At about 1255 BST, a Vauxhall Vectra, which was travelling along Granville Avenue, left the road and hit a fence, said Thames Valley Police.

The male driver was taken to Wexham Park Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition. Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
