Man killed in car park tree crash

A man died when his car struck a tree in a car park in Berkshire.

Police were called to the post office car park in Binfield Road, Bracknell, on Sunday morning. They believe the accident happened at about 0830 GMT.

The driver of the BMW, thought to be in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A formal identification is expected to take place later and post-mortem tests will be carried out over the next few days, police said.

They have appealed for any witnesses to the crash to contact them.
