Top footballer given driving ban
Reading striker Dave Kitson has received a driving ban for failing to provide a breath sample and failing to co-operate in providing a sample.
Reading Magistrates' Court also fined the footballer £1,000 and ordered him to pay £60 costs.
The 27-year-old was stopped on Wednesday near his house in Shinfield, near Reading, Berkshire.
Mr Kitson's 18-month driving ban will be reduced to 14 months if he completes a drink-driving course.
