Youth charged with man's murder

Leroy Kurton A teenager has been charged with murder following the death of a 23-year-old man in Reading.

Police said Leroy Kurton, 23, suffered head injuries during a fight with three men at a petrol station, in Oxford Road, on Saturday.

He made his own way to the Royal Berkshire Hospital, where his condition deteriorated and he died on Monday.

Cohen Benn, 18, from Reading, is due to appear before magistrates in the town charged with murder.

Two other men aged 18 and 19, who were arrested on Monday in connection with the death, have been released on bail until March.
