Motorbike rider dies in car crash

A 50-year-old motorcyclist man has died at the scene of a collision with a car on a country road in Buckinghamshire.

The crash happened early on Sunday afternoon at Boarstall on the B4011 road from Bicester to Long Crendon.

The rider on a Yamaha motorbike collided with a Mazda car travelling in the opposite direction.

A 43-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion dangerous driving and police have appealed for witnesses to the accident to come forward.

Pc Andy Pierce said: "I would like to hear from anyone who may have seen either vehicle prior to the collision or who witnessed the collision itself."
