Pedestrian dies in airport crash

A woman pedestrian was killed when she was hit by a lorry at Luton Airport in Bedfordshire.

Police were called to the airport at about 1330 BST after report of the fatal accident.

Bedfordshire Police warned those travelling to or from Luton Airport to leave extra time for their journeys as traffic delays were likely.

Officers are investigating the crash scene and appealed for anyone who has information about it to contact them.
