Biker killed in hit-and-run crash

A motorcyclist has been killed in a hit-and-run crash.

The 51-year-old man was hit by a car as he rode his Harley Davidson bike on the A10 between Hoddeson and Hertford, at about 1515 BST on Sunday.

He was taken to Harlow's Princess Alexandra hospital where he later died, Hertfordshire Police said.

Police urged anyone who saw the car involved, white and about the size of a Ford Fiesta or Vauxhall Astra, which failed to stop, to contact them.
