Man found dead in car wreckage

A man has been found dead in a car in a Buckinghamshire field following a crash, police have said.

The body of the 22-year-old man was found on Monday in a white Nissan Micra which crashed off the A418 at Lower Wingbury, near Aylesbury.

The road was closed for around four-and-a-half hours to allow police to carry out a crash investigation.

Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash, or saw the vehicle being driven, to contact them.

Pc Dave Black, from Thames Valley Police, said: "The white Nissan Micra [was] travelling along the A418 late on Friday night or the early hours of Saturday.

"I am appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward as their information could be vital to police enquiries."
