Father forced into pub and robbed

A father who was putting his three-year-old son into his car was forced into his pub and robbed.

The 29-year-old was approached outside the New River Arms, Turnford High Road, Turnford, Hertfordshire, by the man who demanded money.

He was taken into the office by the robber who filled a box with cash.

The robber left and got into the passenger seat of a red M-reg Escort or Astra which was being driven by another man. The car sped away into High Road.

The victim described the first suspect as a mixed race man aged in his early to mid 30s, 5ft 9in tall and of a broad build.

He is believed to have acne scars on his face. He had dark brown hair and he was wearing a light grey hooded top and black jeans.

The suspect who was driving the car was wearing a dark top with the hood worn up.

The three-year-old son was left his father's car while the robbery took place.
