Three charged with student murder

Robert Gill Three teenagers, one aged 15, have been charged with the murder of a missing college student.

Robert Gill, 17, vanished after a night out visiting pubs and bars in Bedford on Boxing Day.

Police divers have found a body in the River Great Ouse in Bedford although it has yet to be identified.

Sean Downes, 18, from Acacia Road, Bedford, has been charged with murder along with two others aged 15 and 17. They are due before magistrates later.

The three are also accused of robbery and false imprisonment.
