Man questioned over woman's death

A man is being questioned by police after the body of a woman in her 30s was found in a house in Hertfordshire.

Police were called to the house in Stanmore Road, Old Town, Stevenage, on Thursday morning where they found the woman's body.

They were alerted by a neighbour who heard noises.

The house was cordoned off while police began an investigation. Detectives are questioning a man in his late 50s in connection with the death.
