Driver reveals bodies to police

Aylesbury scene A 53-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after he turned up at a police station and gave detectives the location of two bodies.

The man told officers at Luton police station that he had a woman's remains in a van parked outside.

A body was found in the van and at an address 20 miles away in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

Thames Valley Police said post mortem examinations on the bodies were due to take place on Saturday.

The man was being questioned by Thames Valley Police on Friday evening.

Forensic scientists are examining a top floor flat on the Meadowcroft estate in Aylesbury.

The identities of the victim will not be released until the tests have been completed, police said.
