Carer charged with killing baby

A childminder accused of the manslaughter of an 11-month-old baby girl appeared in court on Monday.

Keran Henderson, 40, of Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire, is accused of killing Maeve Sheppard while the child was in her care.

Magistrates at High Wycombe heard the toddler had died some time between 2 March and 4 March last year at an address in Iver Heath.

Ms Henderson was given bail and is due at Reading Crown Court on 22 May.
