Dog walker death suspect in court

A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a woman while she walked her dogs in Buckinghamshire.

Passers-by found the body of teaching assistant Sally Garwood, 34, at Quarrendon playing fields near Meadowcroft, Aylesbury, on Saturday.

Robert Cusworth, 24, of Levings Close, Aylesbury, appeared at the town's magistrates court.

Mr Cusworth was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Reading Crown Court on 27 July.

Ms Garwood worked at Lord Williams's School, Thame, Oxfordshire.

A post-mortem examination showed Ms Garwood died from stab wounds to the neck.
