More problems on west coast line
Rail passengers on the west coast line have suffered their eighth successive day of disruption.
A signalling fault in the Leighton Buzzard area delayed services by up to 40 minutes, affecting Virgin and London Midland trains.
Network Rail said engineers had now fixed the "minor problem" and added normal services resumed at 0950 GMT.
It comes after a string of problems in the past week, mainly involving power cable faults.
A Network Rail spokeswoman said: "A small number of services were cancelled to allow the bulk of the timetable to run as normal and keep delays to a minimum.
"Network Rail would like to extend its apologies to passengers affected by this fault."
