A search for a man believed to have fallen overboard from a passenger ferry near Norfolk has been called off.
The alarm was raised just before 0600 GMT by crew on The Pride of Rotterdam, which was on its way from the Dutch city to the River Humber.
Seven lifeboats and two search and rescue helicopters tried to find the man. The search concentrated on an area from the east of Cromer to the Humber.
The missing man is believed to be a ferry crew member.
He was last seen at midnight and is thought to have gone overboard about 20 miles off the coast of Wells-next-the-sea.
Chris Hardy, operations manager for the RNLI at Wells-next-the-sea, said conditions were "very cold" and the man's chances of survival were considered "very slim."
