A man arrested at Lowestoft railway station in Suffolk has been charged with a series of terrorism offences.
Neil Lewington, 43, of Tilehurst, Reading, Berkshire, is accused of having two improvised explosive devices contrary to the Terrorism Act 2006.
Mr Lewington is also suspected of having a document called the Waffen SS UK members handbook.
Police said he was in custody and was due to appear before City of Westminster Magistrates' Court.
Mr Lewington is also charged with having seven timers, weedkiller and firelighters, as well as having a book entitled Counter Bomb.
His arrest and charging follows an incident in which police discovered a suspected explosive device when they searched a man at Lowestoft railway station on Thursday.
Bomb disposal experts were called to make it safe.
Mr Lewington had been arrested and charged with possession of an article to cause criminal damage.
He was brought before Lowestoft magistrates on Saturday, bailed and immediately arrested by the Metropolitan Police.
