Two more arrests in murder case

Simon Bampton

Police investigating the death of a man in Bristol have arrested two more men on suspicion of murder.

Simon Bampton, 28, was punched to the ground after a dispute with a car driver in Marsh Street in the early hours of 19 August.

The construction worker, who was from Southampton, died later in hospital.

Two men, aged 21 and 25, from the Birmingham area are being questioned by police. Earlier, another man was arrested and released on police bail.
