Arrest after baby body discovery

Waste centre in Fourth Drove

Police in Worcestershire have arrested a 22-year-old woman over the discovery of a newborn girl's body at a waste recycling plant in Peterborough.

A worker made the find at the city council-owned site in the Fengate area of the city on Wednesday morning.

The body reached the Peterborough site via a sorting plant in Bromsgrove, having been collected from waste bins in Worcester, police have said.

The 22-year-old woman has been released on police bail.
