Pair are charged over robberies

Two people have been charged in connection with a series of robberies in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Essex.

John Stanley, 31, from Biggleswade, and Tara Webb, 20, from Harlow, have each been charged with 10 counts of conspiracy to rob.

Both are due to appear at Stevenage Magistrates' Court on 24 July.

The allegations concern raids at six pubs, two bookmakers, a leisure centre and a company office in 2007 and 2008.
