Two injured in light plane crash
Two people were treated in hospital when their light aircraft came down in a field mid-flight.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene in Hastingleigh, near Ashford, on Monday afternoon.
A spokesman for Kent Police said a woman was airlifted to hospital by helicopter while a man was taken by ambulance.
He said the single-engine light aircraft was reportedly flying from Southend, Essex, to Shoreham, Sussex.
