An international search of ports has been called off after a missing yachtsman was found unharmed.
Coastguards in France, the UK and Channel Islands were involved in the search after the man's wife alerted Brixham Coastguard in Devon on Sunday.
She had been unable to contact her husband who left Torpoint in Cornwall on a trip to the Channel Islands.
After an overnight search, the man was found at 0730 BST moored in the River Yealm - five miles from where he left.
A spokesman for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) said the yachtsman had been traced from his mobile telephone bearings.
Boat owners have been reminded to call someone if their plans change.
