The father of one of two teenagers whose bodies were found in the garden of a Kent house has visited the scene.
Michael Hamilton travelled from his home in Scotland to Margate, where the body of his daughter Vicky, 15, from Redding near Falkirk, had lain.
It followed a similar visit last Monday by Ian McNicol, the father of Dinah, 18, from Tillingham, Essex. Both teenagers were last seen alive in 1991.
Peter Tobin, 61, has been charged in Scotland with the murder of Vicky.
"We've both got so much in common"
Mr Hamilton, accompanied by members of his family including Vicky's cousin, a soldier in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, laid flowers at the house in Irvine Drive.
On Saturday, he and other members of his family went to the home of Mr McNicol in a visit organised through the police.
"We've both got so much in common. He stated he wanted to meet me and I stated I wanted to meet him," Mr McNicol said.
"We had a nice cuddle and a wee chat. His family came and the police came. It was nice to meet him.
"It was so nice to talk to somebody who can fully understand how you feel."
Earlier in the day, neighbours stood outside the property in Margate for a prayer service led by the Reverend Arthur Houston, of Holy Trinity Church.
The three-bedroom council house has now been boarded up after the police investigation there was brought to a close on Friday.
People living near the house are receiving counselling and support at the local Sure Start Community Centre.
Vicky was last seen alive in Bathgate, West Lothian, in 1991, while Dinah McNicol failed to return to her home from a trip to Hampshire, in the same year.
Mr Tobin, who once lived at the house in Margate, missed two court appearances last week after he was attacked while in custody at Edinburgh's Saughton jail.
However, despite his absence on Friday, he was committed for trial at Linlithgow Sheriff Court in West Lothian.
Police said a 21-year-old man had been charged in connection with the prison incident.
