Man dies in collision with bridge
A 21-year-old man killed when his car crashed into a bridge in County Durham has been named by police.
Alistair Peach was driving his Citroen on the B6274 late on Tuesday night in Winston, near Darlington, when he lost control.
Police said his car then collided with the parapet of the Winston bridge. He died at the scene.
Mr Peach lived at Barningham, near Richmond, North Yorkshire. Police are appealing for witnesses.
