Train link back after derailment

Derailed train Train services between Cambridge and Norwich have returned to normal after engineers worked all night to repair track following a derailment.

A train carrying seven passengers came off the rails at Croxton, near Thetford in Norfolk, early on Tuesday morning.

British Transport Police said the train hit a rubber paving block which had become dislodged on a level crossing.

A One Railway spokesman said the train had been put back on the tracks and taken to a depot for repairs.

There are slight delays to services due to a speed limit across the level crossing.
