A Nottinghamshire man who was paralysed in a shooting has put up a £5,000 reward for information to find his assailant.
Tommy Lau, 25, was hit in the back by a bullet fired through the door of his friend's house in Clifton.
It happened in November 2001 but no one has been arrested or charged.
The police are putting up a further £5,000 in the hope someone will come forward.
No conscience
Mr Lau had been married only eight weeks before the incident which left him paralysed form the waist down.
He said: "I remember the bullet coming through the door and feeling a pain in my back and turning round and seeing smoke coming from my back and everybody panicking."
"It's changed my life totally. I used to be a very active person but now I hardly go out and have no social life."
He added: "The person is very callous and has no remorse. They have got no conscience about what they have done to me.
"I hope the £10,000 brings someone forward because I really feel there is someone out there with information."
