'Bullied' worker sacked in Wiltshire

A council worker from Swindon who set up a website criticising the way the authority is run has been sacked for misconduct.

Deborah Rees set up the site, she said, to make others aware of her concerns about alleged bullying at work.

She claimed her life was made a misery after she reported claims of poor standards in Swindon social services department.

The borough council would not comment on the outcome of the five hour disciplinary hearing.
