A police officer who worked on the Soham murder inquiry appeared in court on Friday charged with possessing child pornography.
PC Antony Goodridge, 34, from Ely, Cambs, was an exhibits officer during the investigation into the disappearance and murder of 10-year-old friends Jessica Wells and Holly Chapman from Soham.
He faced 16 charges when he appeared at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates' Court in Suffolk.
They include inciting the distribution of indecent photographs of children between March and September 1999.

He is also charged with possession of indecent photographs of a child with a view to distributing.
He faces 14 charges of possession of an indecent photograph of a child in September and November this year.
Mr Goodridge entered no plea and magistrates extended his conditional bail.
The case was adjourned to the same court until 3 January.
Detective Constable Brian Stevens, 41, who also worked on the Soham murder inquiry, is due to have his case relating to child pornography charges heard at the same court on 3 January.
