Body found in search for missing Briton
The dead man was found in a ravine on Lombok
A man has been arrested in Indonesia after the discovery of a body thought to be that of a British businessman.
Although the body has not been formally identified indications are that it is Charles Cunningham from Whitchurch in Hampshire.
Mr Cunningham, 47, was due to return from his round-the-world-trip on 10 April but his family have heard nothing from him since 23 March.
Indonesian police contacted them to say a man's body was found in a ravine on Lombok island at the end of March.
'Sad time'
A Hampshire Police spokesman confirmed a man had been arrested in Indonesia on suspicion of murder in connection with the discovery of the body.
"It is all in the hands of the Indonesian police," he said.
Mr Cunningham, owner of The Wooldings Vineyard at Whitchurch, was last heard from when he was in Bali.
His mother reported him missing to Hampshire Police on 15 April.
The Cunningham family appealed on Monday for privacy at a "difficult and sad
time".
