Man questioned over Ryan abduction
Ryan Mason had not been seen since Monday
Police investigating the murder of a seven-year-old boy whose body was found on a golf course are continuing to question a 22-year-old man.
Ryan Mason was last seen at his home in Bolton, Greater Manchester, in the
early hours of Monday.
But his mother, thinking he was with friends of the family, did not report his disappearance until Tuesday morning.
Officers began searching Great Lever and Farnworth golf course at 1300 GMT, and within an hour they had found a body on Great Lever and Farnworth golf course, near the boy's home in the Daubhill area.
The body has been formally identified as Ryan's.
Details of the post-mortem examination will be released on Thursday.
The man in police custody was arrested at 0630 GMT on suspicion of abduction.
