Police appeal over restaurant shooting
Police will hand out leaflets at the scene
Police are revisiting the scene of a restaurant shooting which left one man dead.
Officers are stopping drivers and pedestrians, handing out leaflets and appealing for information, a week on from the shooting at Nando's in Uxbridge Road, Shepherd's Bush, west London.
Keiron Bernard, 25, a DJ and record producer, was fatally wounded in the incident.
A waitress in her late 20s was shot in the arm and has since been released from hospital.
Shots fired
Police said it appeared a group of four or five black males entered the restaurant.
Some time afterwards, another two or three black males entered. They were talking at the bar, then up to four shots were fired.
Mr Bernard was hit twice, left the restaurant and drove off in a car.
He managed to drive a few hundred yards before hitting a moped rider who suffered serious leg injuries.
Near miss
Mr Bernard then collided with a car and crashed through an estate agent's shop window, narrowly missing staff.
He died at the scene. Post-mortem tests showed he died from gunshot wounds.
A 20-year-old man was arrested on 31 January in connection with the incident.
He has been bailed to a west London police station on 6 March.
