Daniel Nolan disappeared on New Year's Day in Hampshire, and despite extensive searches, he has not been found.
His parents, Pauline and Greg, have issued several appeals to the public since the 14-year-old's disappearance on the River Hamble near Southampton.
On Wednesday, the couple were due to use the screens at Southampton football club for their latest appeal, during the Premiership match against Liverpool.
A spokeswoman for the St Mary's stadium said a picture of Daniel will be posted on the two big screens above the goals.
She said: "A still image of Daniel will appear on the screen with an appeal for information about him.
"The picture will be on the screen before the match starts and during half-time."
Daniel was last seen walking towards a pontoon on the River Hamble, at about 2330 GMT on 1 January.
After he failed to return to his home in Hamble, Mr and Mrs Nolan called the police at 0400 GMT on 2 January.
An extensive search was later carried out of the area where he disappeared, involving a coastguard helicopter and a Royal Navy diving team.
Although the search was scaled down, Mr and Mrs Nolan have continued to believe he is still alive.
"Daniel may have become disorientated or been unable to get home and gone for shelter," they said in a statement released through Hampshire police.
Feared drowned
In the hours before he disappeared, Daniel had been fishing with friends in freezing conditions, before he decided to go to a shop.
When he saw his friends again, they told him they were going home because it was so cold.
Daniel told them he would catch up and set off towards the icy pontoon to pick up his fishing tackle.
He has not been seen since and police fear he may have fallen in the water and drowned.
His gloves and fishing tackle were later found on the pontoon at Hamble Marina.
A Hampshire police spokeswoman confirmed: "The situation has not changed since the search was scaled down, Daniel is still missing."
Southampton's match against Liverpool is due to kick-off at 2000 GMT.
