Lamplugh police search farmland
No sign of Suzy Lamplugh has been found
Detectives investigating the disappearance of estate agent Suzy Lamplugh have carried out a second search in Somerset.
But no trace was found of the missing woman, who disappeared in London 15 years ago at the age of 25.
Officers spent four days scouring farmland between Perry Green and Chilton Trinity, near Bridgwater.
It followed an earlier search in May in the Quantock Hills, near Over Stowey.
Miss Lamplugh was last seen leaving her London office to show a client, who called himself Mr Kipper, round a flat.
Prisoner questioned
In September police interviewed a prison inmate in connection with the disappearance.
John Cannan, 46, was arrested by members of Scotland Yard's Serious Crime Group on 25 September.
He was returned to prison five days later.
He had been interviewed about the case before but has always denied any knowledge of Miss Lamplugh's disappearance.
Over the years police have mounted a number of searches for her body.
She was formally declared dead in 1994.
DNA tests
In May this year the case was reopened and an appeal was made on the BBC's Crimewatch UK programme.
The publicity encouraged new witnesses to come forward.
One contacted Suzy Lamplugh's mother, Diana.
Police have also carried out DNA tests on hundreds of unidentified bodies.
