How different areas performed

There are wide variations in the performance of different areas of England in their schools' exam results.

The table below shows 149 local authorities ranked on the basis of their schools' achievements in the proportion of students achieving the Level 2 threshold - equivalent to at least five GCSEs at grades A*-C

Other columns show the average point score at this level, value added measure and A/AS-level points.

Click the name of any authority to see the results for all its schools.
