British military fatalities in Afghanistan

The number of British military personnel killed on operations in Afghanistan since 2001 stands at 235 after a soldier from the Royal Military Police was shot during a gun battle in Helmand province.

Of all those killed, 31 have died from accidents, illness, or non-combat injuries, or have yet to be assigned a cause of death. Details of fatalities are in the table below. The entries are arranged by date, with the most recent at the top.
