Majority option for Menezes jury

Jean Charles de Menezes

The coroner in the Jean Charles de Menezes inquest has told jurors he will accept a majority verdict.

Sir Michael Wright said a majority must agree on all the points in a list of questions they have to answer "yes", "no" or "cannot decide" to.

The jury will be reduced to 10 members when it resumes deliberations on Wednesday morning.

Mr de Menezes was shot by police in 2005 in south London after being mistaken for a failed 21 July bomber.
