Channel 4 has broadcast photos of the crash that killed Princess Diana, despite objections from her sons.
Princes William and Harry's private secretary had written to the channel saying they felt it would be a "gross disrespect" to their mother's memory.
But Channel 4 ran the images in Wednesday night's programme after considering the princes' concerns against wider public interest.
The pictures by French photographers are of the August 1997 crash in Paris.
Diana, 36, Dodi Al Fayed, 42, and driver Henri Paul were killed when their Mercedes crashed in the Pont de l'Alma tunnel in Paris as they drove away from paparazzi after leaving the Ritz Hotel.
The images screened in the programme, Diana: The Witnesses In The Tunnel, included one of the princess receiving oxygen from a French doctor as she lies dying in 1997, but her face was obscured.
Other pictures included the wrecked Mercedes and a view through the back of an ambulance in which the Princess was treated.
Clarence House made no further comment on the programme after it was broadcast.
