Six more charged by terror police

The Bridge to China Town restaurant in Borough Five men and one youth have been charged in connection with a police operation targeting an alleged network of terrorist recruiters.

A total of 10 people have now been charged following a raid on a Chinese restaurant in Borough, south London.

The six are due to appear before City of Westminster magistrates on Thursday.

Some of the charges relate to training people to use weapons for terrorism, incitement to murder and possessing material useful for terrorism.

The six charged are all from London.

The overnight raids in London on 1 September led to 14 arrests, including 12 at The Bridge to China Town restaurant in Borough.

Two people have since been released and two remain in custody.

Four other men arrested at the restaurant appeared in Westminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday. They were remanded in custody.
