The UK is set for more high temperatures and transport problems as the heatwave continues at the weekend.
Temperatures reached 33C in Charlwood, Surrey on Friday, while 30C is predicted for Norwich on Saturday, and 28C on Sunday in Southampton.
BBC weather forecaster Jay Wynne said Saturday will feel warm and close, while Sunday will be dry and bright.
The Highways Agency said roads will be busy, with many schools across the country breaking up for the summer.
'Busy weekend'
It advised motorists to check its website for real-time travel information and plan their journey in advance.

A spokesman said: "Once they get going people should listen to local radio and look out for message signs on motorways, and re-route as necessary.
"It's the end of the school term so we would expect it to be a busy weekend on the roads.
"Also, with the hot weather we would ask people to carry water with them because if they do get held up they should be armed with additional water to what they normally carry."
The Association of British Travel Agents (Abta) said 2.1 million people will head abroad between Friday to Monday, with the Canary Islands, Portugal and Spain among the most popular destinations.
Over that period, Heathrow and Gatwick are expecting 700,000 departures, Stansted 180,000, Luton 40,000, Manchester 180,000, and Birmingham 70,000.
Network Rail said speed restrictions imposed on the railways for safety reasons would be assessed "by the hour" over the weekend.
Transport for London said it expects some speed restrictions on the Tube network but there would not necessarily be delays, although there are some line closures.
A spokesman said: "You have to have speed restrictions in place for some time before they start affecting services."
The Open golf championship is continuing at the Royal Liverpool course at Hoylake on Merseyside where temperatures are expected to peak at 27C on Saturday and 23C on Sunday.
The RSPCA has called on dog owners not to leave their pets in cars during the heatwave, after two dogs apparently died in vehicles this month.
Major grass fires were sparked by the hot weather on Friday.
Some 40 firefighters were called to tackle a blaze at a nature reserve on the edge of Cannock Chase, Staffordshire.
