The Queen Mother attended church
She attended Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Saturday afternoon for 45 minutes, a hospital spokesman has confirmed.
The spokesman said she arrived at 1300BST and was there for around 45 minutes under the care of the Queen's physician Dr Ashley Mowatt.
On Sunday the Queen Mother was well enough to join members of the Royal Family for the traditional Sunday church service near Balmoral.
There had been concern about the 101-year-old's health after she not make her customary appearance at Scotland's most famous Highland games, the Braemar Gathering, on Saturday.
Blood transfusion
She is still recovering after undergoing a blood transfusion for anaemia a month ago.
Doctors will be checking that the anaemia has not returned.
And the Queen Mother is likely to pay more attention to the advice of doctors that she rest as much as possible.
On Sunday she was driven the short distance from Balmoral to Crathie Church in a black Rolls-Royce, arriving 10 minutes before the rest of the royal party.
The Queen Mother, wearing a light blue dress with a matching hat and veil, was later joined by the Queen, Prince Philip and other royals.
On arrival at Crathie, the Queen Mother walked up the church steps without assistance.
The Prince of Wales and the Earl and Countess of Wessex also attended Sunday morning's church service, which lasted about an hour.
It was initially hoped that she would attend the Braemar Gathering, after she joined other royals at the Balmoral estate last month.
But shortly before the royal party arrived at the games on Saturday, Buckingham Palace announced that the Queen Mother had decided against it.
