Easter is fast approaching, but does anyone care?

Poll after poll suggests that the world is becoming more secular.

In the UK, 44% of those polled recently said they had no religious affiliation. Another 14% of Britons asked three years ago said they did not know who Jesus Christ is.

However more than two million people worldwide have taken part in an Alpha course, a ten-week introduction to the Christian faith.

It was pioneered by the Reverend Nicky Gumbel, of Holy Trinity Brompton, who was a sceptical lawyer before his conversion to Christianity.

Does organised religion have a future? What is the relevance of religious faith to life today?
