Two readers' designs The Olympic logo has received a mauling from the public so we have been asking readers to send in their alternatives.

A shortlist was selected by top graphic designer and founder of the UK Brand Council, Marcel Knobil.

We asked readers to vote for their favourite. Voting on the designs has now closed.
