Chelsea look for revenge against Reds
The Chelsea manager, Gianluca Vialli, has warned his team that there must be "no vendettas" as Chelsea look to retrieve success against Manchester United after their FA Cup defeat.

Vialli has demanded that his men show the passion and aggression that carried them past Arsenal in the Coca-Cola Cup.

"We have to be aggressive ... press them all the time and be strong mentally and physically," he said.

"That means you have to tackle and be tough, to play as well as we did against Arsenal, without being nasty."

Vialli also suggested that a win for his side - currently 11 points behind the champions - would open up the race for the Premiership crown, because of United's quest for the European Cup.

"It's very hard to win both," he said. "At the start of the season you're strong enough for both, but you also have to be as strong in March. It's not easy."

Tough Test for Collymore

The Aston Villa striker Stan Collymore faces his former club, Liverpool, on Saturday, with the new manager John Gregory delivering a "get off his back" message to critics of the £7m player.

Collymore is out to make amends for what he described as "the lowest point of my career", a 3-0 defeat at Anfield in September when he was constantly booed by Liverpool fans.

Gregory has been boosted by the return to fitness of his leading goal scorer Dwight Yorke, who has missed the last three matches with a calf injury.

Midfielder Ian Taylor will also be back after recovering from an ankle injury but Steve Staunton, Mark Draper and Savo Milosevic are still ruled out.

Blackburn pray for success

The Blackburn manager, Roy Hodgson, is hoping for a change in fortune in Saturday's home tie against Leicester.

Hodgson has seen his side lose their last two Premier League games against Tottenham and Southampton and endured the midweek torture of a penalty shoot-out defeat in the fifth round FA Cup replay against West Ham.

"Our luck needs to change somewhat. But then again managers all around the world are talking about a change of luck," he said.

"So my prayers will not be the only ones winging their way upwards."

Hodgson knows that victory over the Foxes is vital as his side chase the top two spots in the Premiership race.

Derby look for double

Derby will be looking for their second win against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday after thrashing them 5-2 at Hillsborough earlier in the season.

The Derby manager, Jim Smith, said: "They will remember that. I think it will gee them up a bit."

"We've been a bit up and down lately, although I thought some of our football at Old Trafford last week was as good as we've played away from home but we gave away a couple of daft goals."

The Danish defender Jacob Laursen is set to make a surprise return less than two weeks after minor surgery on his right knee.

If there is no reaction to training, Laursen will be back in a three-man central defence.

Hiden dangers for Le Tissier

Martin Hiden is set for a baptism of fire at home to Southampton on Saturday and Leeds's latest defensive recruit is expecting to outshine one of the Premiership's most skilful stars.

Hiden is certain to make his debut following his £1.3m move from Rapid Vienna earlier this week in an attempt to end George Graham's defensive crisis.

Hiden, who can play anywhere in defence, should take up Wetherall's centre-back position alongside Robert Molenaar. A face-to-face meeting with Matthew Le Tissier looks set to cause a stir in his Premiership debut.

Lucas Radebe is out after being called up for Saturday's African Nations Cup final for South Africa against Congo, David Robertson remains sidelined after his recent cartilage operation and David Wetherall starts a two-match ban.
