A Pakistani journalist has been shot dead by unidentified gunmen after he interviewed a spokesman for pro-Taleban militants, officials say.
Muhammad Ibrahim, 44, was a reporter with the Urdu language Express newspaper and their TV channel.
The killing took place in the Bajaur tribal area close to Afghanistan where Taleban have a strong presence.
Mr Ibrahim was returning to Khar, the main town of Bajaur. The attackers also stole his bicycle, officials said.
Mr Ibrahim was returning after interviewing Maulvi Omar, spokesman for Tehreek-e-Taleban Pakistan (Pakistan Taleban Movement).
Witnesses said Mr Ibrahim was intercepted by unidentified men in a black car who snatched his cell phone, camera and notes and then shot him.
No one has claimed responsibility so far for the killing but officials say they believe two people were involved.
Journalists across Pakistan have condemned the killings.
Journalists in Bajaur have held a protest meeting in the city of Peshawar.
