A number of arrests have been made in Nepal in connection with a series of bomb blasts in Kathmandu that killed at least three people, police said.
Authorities say improvised explosives were used in Sunday's blasts.
Three little-known groups seeking autonomy for the southern Terai region say they carried out the attacks. Their involvement has not been confirmed.
The explosions were the first since November, when Maoist rebels signed a peace deal with the government.
The third death as a result of the bomb blasts was confirmed on Wednesday. The latest victim, a schoolgirl, died of her injuries in hospital.
At least another 20 people were wounded in the attacks.
Raided
"Some people have been detained. We are looking into their backgrounds and movements," Upendra Kanta Aryal, head of the Metropolitan Police Crime Investigation Department, was quoted by the Press Trust of India news agency as saying.
Dozens of guest houses, lodges, hotels, houses and other suspicious places have been raided since Sunday evening, PTI quoted police sources as saying.
Sunday's blasts came within minutes of each other, one hitting a minibus in the city and another a university campus outside it, police said.
Kathmandu had not seen any bomb attacks since Maoist rebels signed a landmark peace deal with the government last year and ended their insurgency.
Under the deal, the Maoists and the army agreed to place their weapons under the supervision of the United Nations.
Earlier this year the Terai region was hit by widespread protests called by members of the Madheshi community in support of their demand for a federal system of government.
More than two dozen people died during the protests.
