Gunmen kill teachers in Pakistan

Two female teachers and two children have been shot dead in a tribal region of north-west Pakistan, officials say.

Gunmen fired shots into the house in which the four were sleeping in Khoga Chiri village in Orakzai tribal agency.

The women were Pakistanis working at a government-funded school. One of the women's children, a boy and a girl, were also killed, officials say.

It is not clear who carried out the attack in the deeply conservative tribal area.
