Teachers and students have been sharing their experiences of School Report in order to develop good practice.
Below are some suggestions to help schools capture and disseminate what they have learned during the project.
The School Report team would like to know what is happening in your school. Please tell us using the form below.
You should also have received a certificate from Schools Producer Ros Smith, which you can copy and present to your students. Please send us photographs of your award ceremonies, displays and other post-School Report events and activities.
Note the learning
A simple way to gather the learning is to answer the questions on the School Report evaluation questionnaire, saving a copy, for self-assessment purposes, before pressing the "send" button.

Some schools have used the questions as the basis of a series of TV or radio interviews with staff and students, asking them to reflect on their development of their knowledge and understanding.

WHAT DID SCHOOLS DO AFTER PREVIOUS NEWS DAYS
Robert Baldock, a teacher at the Reading School in Berkshire, said teachers used assemblies, newsletters, e-mails and a display to publicise the work they had done for School Report. They also used the website - keeping it up after the School Report national News Day.
Park High Specialist Sports College in Birkenhead held an awards ceremony to congratulate eight 13-year-olds for asking members of the public about news and for debating live on BBC Radio Liverpool.
Annabel Gibbs, a teacher at Guildford County School, arranged for a photographer from the local paper to come in and also received further publicity from BBC Southern Counties Radio.
Dean Blake, a music teacher at John Cabot City College in Bristol, has become the school's PR guru after teaching himself the tricks of the trade. In his first 18 months in his new found role he gained the school around £30,000 worth of advertising, by building relationships with journalists and learning how to write press releases.
His advice is write short press releases with a catchy title that stick to the Who, What, When Where, and Why and make sure you are easily contactable.
