July 20th

Jeremy Vine on BBC One's This Week If you're watching in broadband, here's how to find your favourite parts of the latest show.

2340 Andrew gets all hot under the collar with our regular cool dudes, Diane Abbott and Michael Portillo.

2342 It's been a grim week in the Middle East. The Lebanese Prime Minister accused Israel of opening up the gates of hell in his country. It's even prompted talk of a Third World War. Today, the UN Secretary-General condemned both sides: Israel for using "excessive force"; Hezbollah for holding an entire nation, Lebanon, hostage. Caught in the middle, as usual, are innocent civilians. Almost 240 are now dead, many of them children, thousands more injured, and many maimed for life. So can anyone claim the moral high ground? And where will it end? We turned to historian Simon Schama and the human rights campaigner Vivienne Westwood for their Take Of The Week.

0010 We've had the hottest day in July ever: train tracks have buckled and the tar on the roads melted. Pour yourself a cool beer and sit back as Jeremy Vine gives his top political tips on how to keep cool in the Round Up.

0010 That very private chat between Messrs Bush and Blair was just one of many conversations that have caught world leaders and others unawares. This week we put indiscretion in the Spotlight with the help of Dead Ringers Jan Ravens and Jon Culshaw.
