One more week

The campaign has been bit of a roller coaster ride for the party since Sir Menzies Campbell resigned in October.

After a slow start during which the main criticism was that both of the candidates seemed too similar, out went the Lib Dems' "nice " tag, and in came some good old political tussling.

Chris Huhne adopted an aggressive edge to his campaign: there was that Calamity Clegg moment for example - the document produced by the Huhne camp - which left both teams with a certain amount of egg on their faces.

At the start of all this we sought the opinions of two party members who hadn't at that stage decided how to cast their votes.
