After Ming

Having disposed of two leaders in two years, the Liberal Democrats are once again looking for someone to give their party a distinctive voice - and distinctive policies.

Nick Clegg and Chris Huhne Someone who can shoulder their way into the Brown-Cameron grapple and survive there.

One of the two contenders for the crown surrendered by first Charles Kennedy and then Sir Ming Campbell is Chris Huhne - the Lib Dems' environment spokesman.

We asked him whether this was an election about the future direction of the party or whether it was about style - who'd be the more telegenic spokesman.
